Big Bunny
Easter at the Dulles Hilton
Hi Lindy Hoppers!!!
Spring Comes to the Dulles Hilton

The Tuxedo Park Orchestra Debuts

On April 2, 2004 Gary and Sue kicked off the Easter holiday with a very nice spring dance. The centerpiece was a giant inflatable rabbit, one of many spectacular props they display from time to time. The theme was "Vinatge" and a large number of people obliged. However, the main attraction of the evening was the debut of the Tuxedo Park Orchestra who played their first gig for dancers. I was really impressed -- the group has a great big band sound and everything they played was wonderful for dancing. These guys are very hip and have a book of very solid swing material that doesn't rely on "standards" - you aren't going to hear "In the Mood" or "Pa 6-5000" at one of their dances. They have an excellent canary and they seem to be a whole lot of fun. We are looking forward to seeing them at other gigs!
