This is a charity event and $15 of the $20 admission is deductible. You can learn more about the charitable purpose and other good things at The JWCCC Website. This has been historically a great event bringing together a lot of folks who don't normally go out dancing regularly. CCB dancing is at 5207 Wisconsin Avenue NW in DC. This is at the corner of Wisconsin and Harrison, just south of Friendship Circle. Very metro convenient, large parking lot in back. Plenty of places to eat: Cheesecake Factory, Clydes, Maggianos. An elegant civilized neighborhood. also Monday Night Swing CLUB BALTIMORE (formerly Little Texas) -- every Monday, Sommer and Dorry of Charm City Swing host a swing dance party at Club Baltimore (the sign is finally up -the place used to be called "Little Texas"), 8014 Pulaski Highway, Baltimore. The large dance floor is very fast, springy wood. They have beginner lessons from 8-9 and open dancing from 9-11:30pm. $5 for dancing (free for students), $10 for dancing and lessons ($5 for students). also Westminster Church -"Blue Monday" Tonight is in memory of Whop Frazier. No "dance floor" but there is room to dance at the back (tile)...and they do like the dancers.
